Datapod Heads To Silicon Valley For Talks

CANBERRA, Australia: Datapod Director Adam Smith will be in Silicon Valley for a series of meetings with some of the world’s largest IT companies to discuss upcoming data center deployments.

The Silicon Valley visit will take place later this month and will feature a presentation available to IT infrastructure managers and CIO’s wanting to learn more about smarter, modular data center deployments.

The Silicon Valley visit comes on top of Datapod’s first exports to Europe and further data center deployments for key customers in the Asia Pacific region.

The Datapod Director will also make a keynote presentation providing customers in the United States a chance to learn more about Datapod and why the System is a leading Data Center 2.0 technology.

Datapod Director Adam Smith said, “We have had recent heavy interest from a number of organisations in the United States, especially around the Silicon Valley hub. This tour is an opportunity to meet with those customers and also develop further business partnerships in the United States.”

Datapod has recently strengthened the longstanding partnership with Universal Networking Services with the formation of Datapod USA. The establishment of Datapod USA is pivotal to the expansion of Datapod and provides the company with on the ground services in one of the world’s largest markets.

“The development of the United States and wider North American market looms large on the Datapod horizon and we are working hard to establish category need and position Datapod as a leading solution in the modular Data Center 2.0 market,” said Mr Smith.

The modular Datapod System enables customers with high density applications to right size their data center needs and ‘clip on’ extra capacity as the needs arise.
